We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to produce high-quality visual content documenting underwater archaeological fieldwork, academic lectures, and international conferences related to Underwater Cultural Heritage (UCH). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in video editing and experience working with scientific or cultural heritage content.

 

Main missions and activities:

· Film, edit, and produce videos documenting fieldwork piloting activities of  as well as educational material.

· Film, edit, and produce videos documenting scientific or cultural events.

· Ensure professional sound recording and audio editing for educational and promotional videos.

· Create high-quality photographic content for institutional, cultural, and scientific communication.

· Conduct filming in coastal and underwater environments (experience onboard vessels in the Mediterranean).

· Support project dissemination through documentaries, educational video capsules, making-ofs, and multimedia content.

 

Required skills:

 

· Professional video shooting and photography

· Video editing and post-production (image and sound)

· Sound recording and sound design

· Field experience in the Mediterranean and maritime environments

· Development and production of educational and promotional audiovisual material

· Teaching capacity and facilitation of audiovisual workshops

· Ability to communicate in English (oral and written) with international scientists.

· Experience in working with international teams

· Experience in administration task, internal reporting, etc.

· Experience in organisation and implementation of international events
